THE GRAFS: bound to our own standards

We are often asked what drives us on. That question is easy to answer: a consistent craftsman's self-concept and of course a love of motorised water sport. There are enough ideals such as the old Chris-Crafts or the classic Rivas. We are the proof that there's still a place for that sort of thing today!

TRADITION: Nothing without passion

Our family-owned company has now fully surrendered to wood in the third generation. Boatbuilding in the house of Graf was established by Günther Graf when he laid down his first wooden boat on keel over 40 years ago. Since then our boatyard has made a name for itself above all with the restoration of old classic boats. Today, company boss Florian Graf is an adept connoisseur of the international boatbuilding scene. No distance is too great and no concept too complex for him when it comes to finding smart or amazing solutions for restorations or the construction of new boats.

PROFESSIONAL ETHICS: Quality cannot be hurried

The uncompromising and single-minded way in which we realise our projects is causing quite a stir in the industry. Hardly anyone could imagine that we would actually achieve our ambitious goals, for instance with the "Graf Ipanema". However, that's ultimately what distinguishes a good craftsman and boatbuilder: he can imagine exactly how it will eventually be even during the concept phase. To that extent our work is no surprise to us in terms of its perfection and aesthetics. That doesn't mean, though, that you should pass up this surprise.
