The Graf Ontario – Conceived beyond legends

Some things can barely be optimised. For everything else there’s always room at the top. That’s why a trendsetting idea for a compact and sporty wooden motorboat has been on our minds for some time now. We have now manifested this idea together with Harry Miesbauer Yacht Design. The result is the Graf Ontario, a compact classic boat that we have conceived beyond the sheer legend.

Design – Goes deeper than the finish at Graf

With a weight of just a little over 2 tonnes and a waterline of barely more than six metres, the Ontario embodies sportiness and an almost enchanting elegance with a width of less than 2.5 metres. The version with an open transom radiates such an astounding superiority that one falls in love with it immediately. Of course, it is also available with a classic stern for the purists. The overall impression convinces in any case with those classic aesthetics that have always characterised boats from our company.

Technology – Sophisticated and yet tried and tested

The term “rear seat” actually doesn’t do justice to what we have conceived for the area behind the driver’s seat. A sophisticated construction enables the seat to be used both in and contrary to the direction of travel. With the help of a variable table, a generously-sized double-length lying surface can be created. Family friendliness without a degree in gymnastics was our guiding idea here. The constructive elements of the boat’s hull are now manufactured with the aid of state-of-the-art CNC machines. For the drive, on the other hand, we chose the classic shaft version.

Environment – Thought through to the end on request

We are no ideologists, but our children’s world is dear to our hearts. That’s why we have always used oak and larch sourced from our own region for the substructure of our boats. What’s new with the Ontario is that we also offer the deck layer in domestic timbers – with a finish that is in no way inferior to the classic mahogany version. We have also considered the future where the drive is concerned. On request, an electric motor provides the necessary propulsion, coupled with unclouded joy on the water. In addition, the quality of our craftsmanship ensures that our boats can be bequeathed.
